We’re looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to support an independent psychiatric nurse practitioner with both telehealth and in-person patients.
What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to support an independent psychiatric nurse practitioner with both telehealth and in-person patients.
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule appointments & send reminders
- Handle patient intake & insurance verification
- Manage and route patient portal messages
- Prepare prior authorization paperwork
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Send pre-approved patient communications
- Log prescription refill requests for provider review
We’re Looking For:
- Behavioral/mental health practice experience in New York – required
- Strong understanding of healthcare administrative workflows
- Comfortable with HIPAA-compliant communication
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
