Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for managing assigned leads, building relationships with prospective clients, and converting opportunities into sales. This role requires excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on delivering value and achieving sales targets.
Location: Hybrid (Lagos)
Contract Duration: 3 months (with possibility of full-time conversion based on performance)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Conversion
- Engage assigned leads promptly through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Nurture prospects through the sales pipeline and close deals successfully.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales conversion targets.
- Proposal Development
- Prepare clear, compelling, and customized proposals for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the sales manager and internal teams to ensure proposals align with client requirements.
- Follow up on proposals to drive timely decision-making.
- Client Relationship Management
- Maintain professional and responsive communication with prospects.
- Build trust by providing accurate information and excellent customer experience.
- Ensure seamless handover of closed deals to the Client Success/Operations team.
- Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and updated records of all interactions, proposals, and deal progress in the CRM.
- Share weekly reports on conversion status, client feedback, and pipeline performance.
- Highlight common objections and market insights to improve team strategy.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and other associates to refine conversion strategies.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development to ensure proposals reflect updated offerings and positioning.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales, business development, or proposal writing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent proposal drafting and presentation abilities.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with excellent time management.
