GTM Strategist

About the Role:
We are a fast-growing B2B GTM and cold email agency helping SaaS companies generate pipeline through advanced outbound systems built on Clay, cold email, and custom GTM workflows.

We’re hiring a GTM Strategist who will own both the technical execution and the client relationship for a portfolio of up to ~25 active clients at a time.

This role is designed for someone who deeply understands Clay, cold email mechanics, and modern GTM systems, and can translate strategy into execution — from onboarding to campaign delivery. You’ll be responsible for building Clay tables and workflows, executing cold email logic correctly, and ensuring client campaigns are launched on time and perform as expected.

You’ll act as the technical GTM owner for your clients: running onboarding calls, managing timelines, executing builds, and communicating clearly with clients throughout the lifecycle.

This is a long-term, full-time role with growth potential into senior GTM strategy or client delivery leadership.

Key Responsibilities: Client Ownership & Onboarding
  • Own onboarding for new clients from kickoff through first campaign launch
  • Run onboarding and strategy calls, gathering ICP, targeting, and GTM requirements
  • Translate client goals into executable Clay and cold email workflows
  • Manage up to ~25 client relationships at a time with clear communication and timelines
  • Proactively update clients on progress, blockers, and delivery milestones

GTM Strategy & Clay Execution
  • Design Cold Email Campaign Strategies for clients
  • Build and maintain advanced Clay tables for targeting, enrichment, scoring, and personalization
  • Design and implement Clay workflows using conditional logic, branching, and automation
  • Execute Clay-based GTM systems that support cold email, personalization, and outbound scale
  • Troubleshoot Clay errors, enrichment failures, API issues, and data inconsistencies
  • Use basic HTTP/API requests within Clay when needed (webhooks, custom enrichments, etc.)

Cold Email Campaign Execution
  • Build and QA cold email campaigns with proper personalization and logic
  • Implement Spintax, conditional copy blocks, and dynamic variables correctly
  • Apply cold email best practices around sequencing, copy logic, and targeting
  • Ensure Clay fields are mapped correctly into sending platforms
  • Validate campaigns before launch to prevent data, logic, or deliverability issues

Delivery, QA & Timelines
  • Own delivery timelines for all assigned clients and ensure on-time execution
  • QA Clay tables, workflows, and campaign logic before handoff or launch
  • Maintain organized, documented Clay projects and workflows per client
  • Coordinate internally to resolve issues quickly and keep clients moving forward

What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Clay in real GTM or cold email workflows
  • Deep understanding of cold email mechanics, including:
    • Spintax
    • Conditional email logic
    • Personalization variables
    • Campaign structure and execution
  • Strong experience building and managing GTM systems, not just running tools
  • Comfortable making basic HTTP/API requests and troubleshooting data flows
  • Experience owning client relationships and running client calls
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple clients at once
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to operate independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have (Not Required):
  • Experience working in a GTM agency or outbound-focused environment
  • Familiarity with common cold email sending tools (Smartlead, Instantly, etc.)
  • Experience improving or iterating GTM systems post-launch based on performance
