Job Summary:

 We are seeking a results-driven Remote Business Development & Sales Executive (Real Estate) to support a growing real estate operation focused on mobile home rentals and sales. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, improving tenant retention, and maximizing revenue through effective lead management, listing optimization, and conversion strategies. The ideal candidate will oversee the full tenant lifecycle—from initial inquiry through move-in and retention—while coordinating closely with on-site teams to support tours and closing processes. This position also plays a key role in managing listings, guiding prospects through applications, supporting financing discussions, and ensuring alignment between marketing efforts and unit availability. This role is best suited for a professional who combines sales expertise, marketing execution, and operational awareness, with experience in marketing, sales, and property management or real estate. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, strategic mindset and the ability to contribute new ideas to develop, improve, and scale the role and overall business function.

Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Retention & Revenue Growth
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants throughout the lease cycle.
  • Convert renters into buyers when possible.
  • Upsell tenants to larger or higher-value units.
  • Reduce turnover through proactive engagement.
Listing Management & Lead Generation
  • Manage and optimize listings across platforms (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, Realtor.com).
  • Ensure listings remain current, accurate, and competitive.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and manage lead flow.
  • Apply a conversion-driven approach across inquiries, tours, applications, and move-ins.
  • Oversee the tenant lifecycle from initial inquiry through conversion, move-in, and retention.
Sales & Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate property tours with on-site staff.
  • Align prospect availability with property schedules.
  • Identify and prioritize high-intent prospects (buyers vs. renters).
  • Support the overall sales process, including positioning and follow-up.
  • Support a growing portfolio of 40+ units across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate closely with on-site teams to coordinate tours and support closing processes.
Application & Follow-Up Management
  • Guide prospects through digital rental applications.
  • Maintain consistent communication post-tour to secure applications and move-ins.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to occupancy
Financing & Buyer Support
  • Educate prospects on mobile home financing options.
  • Explain credit requirements and qualification criteria.
  • Coordinate with lending partners to support approvals.
  • Construction & Inventory Coordination
  • Track unit availability and development timelines.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and actual unit readiness (utilities, construction status).
  • Prevent tenant dissatisfaction due to inaccurate move-in expectations.
Process Improvement & Strategy
  • Help structure and scale the business development function.
  • Manage the company's social media to strengthen visibility and engagement with potential clients.
  • Propose improvements (e.g., website optimization, online presence, review strategy).
  • Contribute new ideas to improve conversion rates and tenant experience.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and teammates.
  • Combined experience in sales and marketing.
  • Background in real estate, leasing, or property management.
  • Strong negotiation and closing support skills.
  • Proven ability to manage pipelines, leads, and customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, MLS, or similar real estate listing tools.
  • Familiarity with mobile home or residential financing.
  • Experience structuring or improving business processes.
  • Professional, sales-driven mindset with strong customer focus.
  • Experience combining sales expertise, marketing execution, and operational awareness within a real estate or similar environment.
  • Ability to bring new ideas and contribute to the development and scaling of the role and business function.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive mindset. 
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
  • Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident approach.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to understand and follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs.
