A leading company in the car rental services industry is looking for a half-day Remote Fleet Utilisation Specialist. You will analyse the national fleet to ensure vehicles are effectively utilised, billed correctly, and generating expected revenue. The role involves identifying trends, exceptions, and inefficiencies, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance and support better business decisions.
Responsibilities:
A leading company in the car rental services industry is looking for a half-day Remote Fleet Utilisation Specialist. You will analyse the national fleet to ensure vehicles are effectively utilised, billed correctly, and generating expected revenue. The role involves identifying trends, exceptions, and inefficiencies, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance and support better business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse the utilisation and billing data of approximately 9,000 vehicles.
- Identify reasons and trends for non-utilisation (e.g., maintenance, panel shops, or other operational factors).
- Assess billing accuracy and ensure revenue per vehicle or group is aligned with expectations.
- Work closely with relevant teams to flag discrepancies and propose improvements.
- Develop clear, concise reports and summaries for management review.
Requirements - Relevant qualification or background in Finance, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Excel and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in fleet or asset management would be advantageous.
