About the position:
We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Part-Time SEO and AI Search Optimization Specialist to drive our organic search strategy. This role is focused on providing strategic guidance, conducting high-value audits, and adapting our approach to the evolving landscape of AI-driven search (like generative search experiences). The ideal candidate will be a strategic expert who can prioritize tasks for maximum impact within a flexible schedule.
CONTRACT TERM: 3-6 months with the possibility to extend.

Key Responsibilities (High-Impact & Strategic Focus)
1. Strategic SEO Audits & Planning
  • Conduct quarterly comprehensive technical SEO audits, providing prioritized, actionable recommendations to the development team.
  • Perform deep-dive keyword research and competitive analysis specifically targeting high-intent, high-volume opportunities for content team strategy.
  • Develop and maintain an SEO roadmap that aligns with business objectives, ensuring a clear path for organic growth.
  • Ensure critical site elements (crawl budget, indexing, mobile optimization) are properly maintained and monitored.
2. AI Search Adaptation & Content Strategy
  • Lead the organization's response to AI-driven search changes (e.g., Generative AI Overviews, LLM integration), advising on strategy adjustments.
  • Consult with content creators on optimizing content structure and data for rich results, featured snippets, and successful AI summarization/citation.
  • Research and recommend effective, ethical uses of AI tools to enhance SEO efficiency (e.g., automated reporting, topic modeling).
  • Monitor algorithm updates and AI-related developments, translating findings into concise, actionable internal memos.
3. Performance Measurement & Reporting
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for organic search.
  • Provide monthly executive reports synthesizing performance data (Google Analytics, Search Console) and outlining the strategic next steps.
  • Identify and troubleshoot significant drops or sudden changes in traffic and rankings, specifically those related to core updates or AI shifts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • SEO Expertise - Minimum 3+ years of proven, high-level strategic experience across Technical, On-Page, and Off-Page SEO.
  • AI/ML Acumen - Demonstrated understanding of how Generative AI and LLMs influence SERPs and content visibility.
  • Technical & Analytical - Expert proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and at least one enterprise SEO tool (e.g., Ahrefs/SEMrush). Ability to deliver data-driven conclusions, not just data.
  • Project Management - Excellent ability to prioritize, manage their own time effectively, and meet project deadlines independently.
  • Communication- Strong skills in translating complex technical/AI concepts into clear, non-technical strategic recommendations for stakeholders.

Work Schedule: Approximately 15-20 hours/week, flexible within Eastern Standard Time business hours.

  2. After you submit all necessary information, you will receive an invitation to record a video interview. You will be asked a few questions to help us get to know you better. 
  3. The hiring team reviews applications and selects the best-fit candidates for interviews.
  4. If you pass all stages, the offer will be made, and you will be asked to complete paperwork.
  5. Once the paperwork is complete, we will verify the validity of your identity, signature, and the information you have provided. If everything looks good, you are officially hired, and the probation period starts.
  6. The probation period is paid.
How do I get paid?
  • We pay via Payoneer once a month. Payoneer is a financial services company (similar to PayPal) that provides online money transfer and digital payment services. It connects to your bank account for fast, secure transactions. Please note that Payoneer is not part of eCore Services, and all fees collected by Payoneer are determined solely by Payoneer.

  • We review applications on a first-come-first-serve basis. We aim to be efficient and respond promptly, but during periods of high applicant volume, our response may be delayed. Nevertheless, your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified of the decision. If you don’t receive a decision within 2 months, feel free to reach out to request an update.
