Job Description
The Community/Content Associate is the chief content and community engagement person for Remote4Africa. She will be in charge of community and content
Key success indicators will include;
- driving the rate of subscription
- ensuring the growth and usefulness of the Remote4Africa resource centre for our tens of thousands of users
Key Duties/Responsibilities
MONTHLY MASTERCLASSES
- drive community engagement through coordinating monthly masterclass events for subscribers (from developing topics, finding the right experts and anchoring/moderating each masterclass)
RESOURCE CENTER
- recording and editing videos of each masterclass to be hosted on our resource centre
- converting the articles on our blog to short, cool, educational videos for the resource centre
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
- create and syndicate content across our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube)
NEWSLETTER WRITING
- write twice a month engaging newsletters to our users
Key Requirements
- excellent written and spoken command of English
- nimble with video creation & editing tools
- Very good research and writing skills
- ability to find, engage and bring on relevant resource persons/experts for our monthly masterclasses
- ideally between 1-2 years experience in content creation/editing, community management or related roles.
- samples of previous written and video content.
- graduate from any accredited Nigerian higher institution with very good internet/computer skills

This is a completely remote position
