Job Description

We're hiring at the messy, exciting intersection of finance x technology at Stears.

Why?
Because the future of African investing will be built on cleaner data, faster decisions, and teams who can talk term sheets at 10 and data models at noon.
We are currently looking to fill

Role: Data Associate / Analyst, Financials Extraction (remote-friendly, Nigeria)

Requirements
Accounting and finance first, ideally a qualified accountant. You're meticulous with financial statements and comfortable structuring data. If you've started tinkering with LLMs and tools like n8n (workflow automation), even better. We'll teach the A bits; you bring the rigour.

What we're building (and why it matters):
• Reliable private market data for Africa, delivered faster and with better provenance.
Human-in-the-loop systems supercharged by Al, not replaced by it.
• A team that treats data quality like a covenant, not a nice-to-have.
