We're hiring at the messy, exciting intersection of finance x technology at Stears.

We are currently looking to fill
Role: Private Capital Data Lead (hybrid, Lagos):
Requirements
You've spent 5+ years in investment banking/private markets with real deal experience across Africa. You're comfortable with financial modelling and data analysis, and you're curious about large language models (LLMs). We'll train you on the LLM side; you bring the private capital muscle and a bias for building scalable, high-quality data workflows.
What we're building (and why it matters):
• Reliable private market data for Africa, delivered faster and with better provenance.
Human-in-the-loop systems supercharged by Al, not replaced by it.
• A team that treats data quality like a covenant, not a nice-to-have.
