Job Description

We are building an AI-Native Engineering team and are looking for Quality Engineers who use modern AI tools as a core part of how they design, execute, and automate testing. Working as part of a team across multiple projects simultaneously, you will provide quality assurance support to designated software, organise and track incident response activities, and simplify audit and compliance work.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and developers across the full testing spectrum — database, unit, API, security, performance and UAT — to ensure that code is production-ready before it ships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, automation-minded, and proactive in adopting tools that improve test coverage and speed. If this describes you, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality assurance support to designated software across multiple concurrent projects
  • Perform feature acceptance, regression, and UI testing
  • Design, maintain, and execute test cases across database, unit, API, security, and UAT testing
  • Build and maintain test automation across these testing layers
  • Analyse design documentation and production requirements to define effective test strategies
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation
  • Organise and track incident response activities
  • Support audit and compliance activities, simplifying processes where possible
  • Participate actively in the release process and ensure code is production-ready before deployment
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and developers throughout the SDLC

AI-Native Quality Engineering
  • Apply AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to generate test cases, test data, and documentation
  • Use prompt engineering techniques to accelerate test design and edge-case identification
  • Build AI-assisted automation across database, unit, API, security, and UAT testing
  • Use AI tools to identify defects, vulnerabilities, and performance issues earlier in the cycle
  • Critically evaluate AI-generated test artefacts and validate their correctness before use
  • Contribute to internal AI-assisted testing frameworks and reusable patterns

Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar Quality Engineering or Software Testing role
  • Demonstrated experience in test case design, maintenance, and execution
  • Good theoretical knowledge of QA and software testing principles and the software development process
  • Specialisation in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Intermediate English, both written and oral

Technical Skills
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience with test automation
  • Familiarity with testing across multiple layers (database, unit, API, security, UAT)
  • Experience using a test management tool
  • AI & Automation Skills
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or coding tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor)
  • Ability to validate and refine AI-generated test artefacts

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with performance testing
  • Experience with security testing
  • Working knowledge of SQL or relational databases for database testing
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering for test case generation
  • Experience contributing to continuous testing pipelines
